Illustrative case: connect machine stops with shift records
This is a hypothetical example informed by technical research, not a KAOTOR client project. No customer or achieved outcome is claimed. It shows how an operational question can become a measurable pilot.

This is a hypothetical example informed by technical research, not a KAOTOR client project. No customer or achieved outcome is claimed. It shows how an operational question can become a measurable pilot.
The hypothetical problem
A shift lead can see stop times in one system, while reasons are recorded elsewhere. Assume a pilot on one machine and two shifts, subject to permission and a site-specific suitability review.
The proposed approach
Match events using equipment ID and time. Flag events without a confirmed reason for human review. Preserve the source records and avoid inferring causes as facts. Start with read-only collection rather than machine control.
Evidence to collect
Check timestamp agreement, event completeness, matching accuracy and preparation time. Fix connection quality before adding AI. These measures require a real pilot; the example does not demonstrate lower downtime or better OEE.
