KAOTOR Intelligence: an industrial decision-support prototype using synthetic data

An internal KAOTOR prototype brings incidents, machine context and maintenance work into one interface. Synthetic data demonstrates the workflow; this is not a customer factory deployment or a claim of measured operational improvement.

KAOTOR Intelligence: an industrial decision-support prototype using synthetic data

The challenge

Factory teams need to connect machine events, maintenance history and procedures before deciding what to do. The prototype uses a recurring M-204 motor incident to explore how people can review context and supporting evidence together. All data is simulated; no live SCADA, MES, CMMS or ERP connection is demonstrated.

Our approach

Built a web demo with a factory overview, incident views, system map and work-order views, plus a guided walkthrough. The assistant presents recommendations based on simulated sources and identifies the need for human confirmation. The interface places event context, references and a possible next step together for review.

The outcome

Delivered a publicly accessible prototype at https://intelligence.kaotor.com/; its overview was inspected on 8 October 2026. The interface explicitly labels the demo environment and synthetic data. Efficiency, output and downtime values are simulated, not customer KPIs. Real integrations, recommendation accuracy, access controls and business outcomes require pilot validation before production use.
